I really like some of your advice (like sleeping on it, not writing the thesis before you've read about your topic, and making a narrow thesis statement), but I also disagree with some of the points you've made. First, I actually think you're better off writing about a topic that not too much has been written on (obviously not too little), because that's less information to research, analyze, organize and discuss. Personal preference. Also faking sources can get you in some serious trouble (it's considered a form of plagiarism), and there's a huge difference between peer cited sources and kindle e-books. I've actually written an e-book on this very topic ("The Practical Guide to Writing Great College Papers Fast"), so it's interesting to see different perspectives.
