Miami Learning Center (MLC) is a full-service learning center with an experienced staff of Tutors and Academic Advisors that have been assisting students throughout South Florida for almost 20 years. Founded in 1997, Miami Learning Center began out of a need to provide quality and affordable educational services to students in Miami-Dade County. As a Miami-Dade partner, MLC has provided enrichment programs and academic acceleration programs to hundreds of students while participating with local public and private schools in improving FCAT test scores, reading and math levels, and academic grades.
Latrice Colley was born and raised in Southern California. She learned about Atlas Prep School in 2011 online and found a new love for education and working with students. She enjoys listening to the scholar’s share their stories and adventures they have at the school and at home. Her passion is for scholars to excel in new heights and to see them reach their goals. She always encourages the scholars to keep focus and to block all negativity while looking forward to the future. She feels that Atlas not only changes lives, but also makes a difference and she is excited about being apart of that process.
